Tree Planting Project Gets Underway
Following a commitment to plant three thousand trees at Majjistral Park over a period of three years, work on clearing land and repairing rubble walls has been completed. The next steps will consist of the laying of the irrigation system and the actual tree planting. So far two groups from Kitchen Concepts Ltd. have spent some hours up at this National Park. Other companies from within the Alf. Mizzi and Sons Group, namely MacMed Ltd, Systec Ltd., and Strand Electronics Ltd. will be rolling up their sleeves and helping with the work over the next few weeks. This programme is generously supported by AmbjentMalta, which will be providing most of the tree and bush saplings.
