Mission accomplished! Management members from Kitchen Concepts Ltd. planted the last few hundred trees at Il-Majjistral Park to complete The Alfred Mizzi Foundation’s 1000 tree project. Tree and bush saplings of indigenous species were planted over an area of circa 3 tumoli, all supported by an irrigation system. The Foundation’s grant also covers adequate water supply to ensure that the saplings do not go thirsty during the dry summer months. This will go on for three years, the period needed for the saplings to sink their roots deeply enough. Ambjent Malta also supported this project through their contribution of several hundred saplings.
