Earlier this month, the partners, administrators and staff of Fondazzjoni Dar il-Hena gathered to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Fondazzjoni Dar il-Hena was the brainchild of The Alfred Mizzi Foundation, who partnered with Caritas Malta and the Ministry for Social Policy and the Family. This unique tripartite operation has, over the last 10 years, successfully offered food and shelter to thousands of persons in need at Dar Papa Frangisku – Malta’s first soup kitchen, Dar Maria Dolores and Reach Home. TAMF is committed to providing a fully functioning dining room, sponsoring the chef’s salary, all furniture and equipment and food to the tune of over €100,000 per annum.
